Dhauli is a beautiful hill located on the bank of river daya & is 8 km far from the south of Bhubaneswar city. Basically it carries the story of transformation of Samrat Ashoka From Chandashoka To Dharmashoka. This is one of most important historical place in Odisha. You can find here samrat Ashoka’s edict impressed on stone. You can enjoy the beauty of santi stupa & Buddha’s statue. Around the santi stupa you can find lots of marvellous stone art .From the top of the hill a beautiful view of paddy field is enjoyed around the hill. At the time of sunset the hill site view is most amazing. It is a very beautiful place. Any time in the year you can visit to this place.

Every day in the evening light & sound show is organised by odisha tourism department. The show tells about the story of transformation of samrat Ashoka from Chandashoka to Dharmashoka by the projection of light.

Another attraction here is the temple of lord dhabaleswar.It is located just beside the santi stupa & from here you can also enjoy the hill top view.
