Dosa is a most favorite breakfast of all Indians.Here is a making procedure of Dosa.
- Rice – 2 cups
- Urad dal – 1 cup
- Oil for shallow frying
- Water – for grinding the batter
- Potato pudding
- Salt as per taste
Method:
- Wash and soak the rice and Urad dal separately for 6-8 hours.
- Drain the water and keep aside.
- Grind the Urad dal to a thick consistency, adding water.
- Now grind the rice.
- Mix the two batters stirring clockwise and anti-clockwise.
- Add salt and cover. Leave it overnight.
- Stir well, add water if the batter is too thick. Add salt if required.
- Prepare the non-stick pan by heating it.
- Apply some oil in the pan.
- Spread the Dosa batter evenly on the pan.
- Cook the Dosa till one side is crisp and brown.
- Add some potato masala pudding.
- Fold and serve hot with chutney and sambar.
