This blog is for one of the most important festival of Odisha. This festival is called as "Sital Sasthi" or " Shiva vivah".Every year in the month of Jyestha on Sukla Pakhya tithi of odia calendar this festival will celebrating.

In this festival marriage of lord shiva and maa Parvati will be celebrating similarly as general Hindu marriage. In most of the village of odisha people are celebrating this festival. 4 people are selected from village and became father and mother of two goddess and completed the marriage as per Hindu marriage.

This festival is mostly famous in Western Odisha. This is a traditional festival of Odisha.
