About Deojhar waterfall

Deojhar waterfall is locally called as 'DianDhar waterfall'. Deojhar waterfall is situated in Narasinghpur Block of Cuttack District which is one of the most beautiful waterfall in Odisha. Deojhar waterfall is famous for its natural beauty and lush green forest surroundings. So this place is one of the best picnic spots near Bhubaneswar-Cuttack. Deojhar waterfall is located in Talapunji village close to Narasinghpur block under Athagarh subdivision. Deoghar waterfall is about 30 feet in height.


Important Information :-

You will not find any kind of mobile network/communication in this area. There are no snack counter, hotel, lodge, petrol pumps and atm’s near Deojhar Waterfall .



How to Reach:-


It is approximately 100 km far from Cuttack City. There are 2 routes from Bhubaneswar. One route will be Banki - Athagarh - Narsinghpur which will be about 122 km. The other one will go to Khordha via Kantilo which will be about 114 km.

By Bus:-

From Cuttack bus stand you can find bus for this route. Bus service is available up to Champeswar in Cuttack Narsinghpur road. From Champeswar to Deojhar you can go by hiring auto rickshaw.

By Rail:-

Nearest railway station is cuttack.                 

By Air:-

Nearest Airport is Bhubaneswar.

Best time to visit Deojhar waterfall

Deojhar Waterfall remains dry in summer time. So "August to February" is the appropriate time  to travel.
