About Taptapani Hot spring
Taptapani is one of the most famous picnic spots in Odisha and is known for hot spring. It is one of the best spiritual place which is situated near about 87 KM from Silk City Berhampur. According to folk tales hot sulfur water has medicinal properties that cures many skin diseases. The kanduni devi temple is located on the bank of underground hot spring. From there two smaller tanks facilitate which act as hot water bathing purpose separately for gents and ladies.
The deer park is an another attraction for children which is located near by the temple, also there is a small children's park to keep the children entertained.
Best time to visit
There is no such specific time to visit at this place but to enjoy the climate and hot water bath the preferable time will be from November to February.
Accommodation at Taptapani
The only accommodation available at Taptapani is Orissa Tourism Development corporation ( OTDC ) resort.

There are frequent private buses and Govt. buses services that are also available from Bhubaneswar to Berhampur . From Berhampur you can hire auto rickshaw, private car to reach this Hot water Spring.
